St Clements College is a Secondary school, a sixth form centre and a specialist school with one discipline as a sport college, located in Skegness Lincolnshire for children aged between eleven and eighteen/nineteen. Selection to the school roll is by Lincolnshire's eleven plus examination.

In the year 2007, the school got the lowest GCSEs in the East Midlands, lower than even those in Nottingham.

The school’s name is frequently shortened by pupils, teachers and local residents to 'The Earl of Scarborough’ as this was the previous name of the school before being renamed in 2005.

The School today

ICT

During years 7, 8 and 9, students are taught all aspects of Microsoft Office. This includes using Word, Excel and Publisher.

During years 10 & 11, students will only take ICT if they ‘opt’ into it. During the course they learn ‘real life’ computing skills such as PC repair, Networking, Website development and Designing & Implementing Software solutions. This currently includes creating ‘who wants to be a millionaire’ in Visual Basic.

If students return for 6th form, they can continue their education at Level 3 by taking the National Diploma. This course prepares students for either work or a place on a Degree course.

The school ethos

The school states that:

‘’ Our ambition for St Clement's College is that it becomes a confident, successful learning organisation that meets the needs of its students, staff and the community it serves. At the heart of this are quality, standards and achievement. These three terms can and will be applied to every aspect of the life of our school.’’
